Dalton Ranch is situated in the magnificent Animas valley with 270 acres enclosed in the towering red cliffs of the San Juan mountains, the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Originally owned by Dalton Land & Cattle Co. Local rumors point to the infamous Dalton Gang having purchased the property on one of their many excursions from the California coast to the Mid-west.
